"Partridge in a Pear" Refinished Chair

This beautiful chair was refinished by my friend, Steph, from Rekindle Home.  She wasn't able to bring it with her when she recently moved back to Vancouver, so I told her I would sell it for her in my booth.  It has a beautifully firm seat embellished with a partridge!

Custom Cabinet to match the Peacock Tables

The lovely lady who purchased the vintage Queen Anne tables that were embellished with peacocks asked me to also refinish her pine cabinet in the same colour to match (Old Ochre) & embellish with peacocks.

Eclectic Mix in our Booths

We have two booths for now (a bit much to keep on top of) will re-evaluate at end of May.  Here is an eclectic look of some pieces at our booths:

Beachy Side Table ***SOLD***

***SOLD*** Thanks client!

This little cutie was finished with Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in "Eulalie's Sky" and then contrasted with Annie Sloan "French Linen".  Sealed with hemp oil and specialty waxes and a new drawer installed! Look at the beautiful drawer pull on this one! Love the bling!

Cherub Cottage Table ***SOLD***

This adorable little table has interesting legs! It is painted in Annie Sloan "Old White" and embellished with a vintage Cherub image.  The table is handcuffed with speciality wax for durability and protection.

Queen Anne Mahogany Table ***SOLD***

We love the Queen Anne legs and oval ones are our favourite. This beautiful mahogany table was done in Annie Sloan French Linen and Old Ochre for contrast, embellished with "Paris Flower Market".  All of our pieces are hand buffed with speciality wax for durability and protection.

Empire Dresser circa 1845 ***SOLD***

***SOLD***

I love this dresser! The lines of the Empire dresser are strong.  This has been painted with Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint for that chippy & gorgeously distressed look! A heck of a process - blending your own paint - but in the end, very happy with the results. The piece is then dressed with hemp oil - two coatings with drying time of 12 hrs in between and then finally wax paste to harden and protect.  The bling bling of the knobs really set this darling off!

"Paris" Side Table ***SOLD***

***SOLD*** Thanks Shirley!

This adorable rectangular table with Queen Ann Legs was painted in my favourite, Old Ochre (Annie Sloan) with the "Paris Flower Market" embellished on it's top! It only last an hour in our booth before the decor fashionista, Shirley, snatched it up! Unfortunately, I forgot to take both a before and after - so here is the little table in the mid right hand section of the photograph.

Vintage 1930's Buffet ***SOLD***

***SOLD*** Thanks Iveta!

This would have sat in a woman's kitchen during the '30s.  Iveta fell in love with it.  It need a few repairs and to be stripped down, but the buffet had lots of character and great bones! She wanted it Grey hues all over with contrasting black and CRACKLED up the wahzoo! So, it was painted with vanGogh "Revenge" all over and then a combination of vanGogh "Chivalry" and Annie Sloan "Paris Grey".  The crackle medium was applied everywhere! The hardware was hammered off (I think it had been there since the '30s!)  I put on beautiful bubble glass knobs that a local craftswoman makes, replaced the glass on the front (which we managed to knock into and break on the way UP her stairs upon delivery! (Another one was picked up to replace it!)  Iveta & her kids loved it.
