Shabbyfufu Studio is located in Hamilton, Ontario.  It is the artistic endeavour of wife/hubby team, Jane & Douglas - parents to two beautiful girls - born out of a long-standing hobby and love of redeeming and up cycling pieces of furniture that have seen some years! 

Shabbyfufu Studio  offers chic and sustainable vintage furnishings. You will absolutely love our carefully curated collection of custom painted, mid century modern and antique furniture. Each item is individually picked for its superior quality, enduring style and covet-worthy uniqueness. We lovingly and painstakingly refinish all of our painted furniture pieces in house by hand. Our use of  environmentally responsible low-VOC chalk paint offers a surprisingly lustrous, durable and silky-smooth finish. Message us today with

Our home is over run with antiques and retro furniture that we acquire from near and far - painstakingly and with passion seeking a vision for it's rebirth and redemption to become an heirloom piece in your family that will outlive you! Some pieces are in great need of love and attention before they are even anointed with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint or other mediums we use.  

We love the styles of French Country, Paris Apartment, Shabby Chic, Cottage Chic. We love distressing and playing with waxes, glaze, gilding etc. We spend hours upon hours agonizing over what treatment to give the piece  in front of us; don't even get me going about the hardware! 

Allow us to introduce ourselves:

Jane; by day is a Licensed Class P1 Paralegal in private practice.  

Douglas; the tattooed pierced eccentric, is an artist of many mediums - hair, makeup, acrylic/oil pop gothic art and loves to spend days intricately painting images onto tables and dressers & even salsa's while doing so!
