Distressed Side Table ***SOLD***

***SOLD*** Thanks Theresa!

We had done a dresser for Theresa a while back - she got in contact looking for a little side table to match the dresser.  We collaborated and decided that it would be black and distressed with the Duck Egg peeking through. The black is van Gogh "Revenge" - a nice deep black and Annie Sloan Duck Egg is the colour painted underneath.

Weathered Grey Dresser ***SOLD***

***SOLD*** Thanks Nicole!

Custom Job for a cute couple expecting their first child!
They brought us a sturdy & strong dresser covered in brown lacquer paint (probably oil based).  The dresser was painted up in Annie Sloan Paris Grey and Old White with Miss Mustard Seed White Wax and the clear Annie Sloan wax for protection.  A beautiful appliqué  attached to the second door.  The dresser is highlighted all over with MM Sea Pearl paints.

You can really see the highlights of the MM Sea Pearl paints here on the roses:

Vintage late 1950s Night Tables ***SOLD***

Solid Maple wood.  These were extremely structurally sound and well looked after.  They were remained with Old Ochre and a wood napping technique that was a "happy accident" that Douglas really liked.  They were "dipped in gold" on their legs and the handles painted gold as well.

"Let Them Eat Cake" Table ***SOLD***

***SOLD***

I love this image! This is a vintage 1950s table turned from very bland brown to a very interesting conversation piece.  It was refinished with Chivalry vanGogh Fossil paint & Annie Sloan wax hand buffed for protection.  The image transfer is of Marie Antoinette with the quote "Let Them Eat Cake".  I also used crackle medium and distressed it slightly.
