This lovely character filled Mahogany antique from 1940 has had only one owner & came from Memphis, Tennessee. (No, it wasn't Elvis). It has been steamed, cleaned & redeemed in a light "Paris grey" & white Annie Sloan Chalk paint. Protected by wax for durability & hand buffed to a satin sheen. Distressed lightly. There is ample space inside this Chifferobe - a compartment up top & then two drawers & then another three below - five drawers in total. Drawers open & close with ease. Fleur de Lis handles. Strong & sturdy / solid wood. Not made of MDF or particle board as today's big box stores sell. This antique is structurally sound with updated pizazz. This is all set to be enjoyed for another 80 years!

This sturdy little MCM has been refinished in a fresh "springy" colour. I used vanGogh SeaGlass with clear & dark wax and a good amount of distressing. The piece is embellished with pretty little crown drawer pulls.

This very large side table is manufactured by The Kroehler company - a high end manufacturer.  Beautiful cabriole legs, sturdy & solid, one drawer glides effortlessly.  I decided to use the colour "Paloma" from Annie Sloan and embellish with flourishes in the corners.

This side table is HEAVY! Circa 1930. We think the pretty vintage drawer liner is original - seems like it was made with it! This oak table has gorgeous claw feet as well - which is hard to find! Refinished with van Gogh fossil paint in " Sea Glass" - I fell in love with this colour at "Pure" in Burlington in John Street.  The owner, Lori, has refinished a dresser in this colour and I loved the freshness of it!

I love this buffet/sideboard! Solidly built by the Andrew Malcolm Fine furnishings manufacturers in probably the 1950's/1960's. Refinished in Annie Sloan Old Ochre, clear & dark waxed & decoupaged in damask! A smaller sideboard that is big on character. A plain brown to warm cream tones!
